for everyone
Rose invited the boys over for a mumu and a day of working in her garden. They got a wonderful education on how to garden, and planted a section of cabbage and onions. Jeff loved gardening, and talked Rose into letting him come regularly

Oh, what a wonderful opportunity for your boys! What a special gift God has given you all in your relationship with Rose!

no kidding! Jeff especially loved it, and it trying to talk Rose into letting him come more often. The problem is she usually works in her jungle garden on the weekends which is over an hour hike into the mountains- she is afraid that the hike would be a bit much for the boys. They are learning how to prepare the ground, and she showed them how they use their food rubbish to make composte, and how to plant different types of food. Jeff planted mostly onions, but some cabbage. It is so neat to see how they farm with no tools. They use shovels, but other than that they work with all natural things. They dig the small holes with their hands or a stick, and they hold fragile plants up with bamboo sticks. They have acres and acres of gardens that feed their village. My boys also enjoyed learning how to grow sugar. Chase said if he had a garden he thinks he would put it in the shade:)
